Ward Lake Reservoir is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Skyway Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby, and do pop by Sheep Lake, it's a gorgeous lake. Stay the night at Carp Lake Campground,       and Ward Lake Reservoir is right by the High Trail. Around Ward Lake Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly October, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest. Through the summer at Ward Lake Reservoir highs are typically in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
