Walton Lake Number 2 is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful. A great close by hotel is Budget Host Raton, and at Walton Lake Number 2 you can see Burro Mesa. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great earth it would be. Raton Super 8 Motel is a good place to get some rest, and Capulin Volcano National Monument is a pleasant location close by.

2 is Raton RV Park. A pleasant journey to Messer Flat is a brilliant way to spend an afternoon; if you've had enough of Walton Lake Number 2, Dominguez Lake is nearby.
