Sure, Aurora Rampart Reservoir is in the neighborhood of Wakeman Reservoir; Wakeman Reservoir is wonderful enough to spend more than       a day at, Rock Springs Campground is a wonderful local campground. At Wakeman Reservoir all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's; nighttime lows at Wakeman Reservoir during the winter usually descend into the 10's. Roxborough Park is right here at Wakeman Reservoir, and you can run the rapids of South Platte                  River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. At Wakeman Reservoir you don’t see much rain; May is when you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on South Platte River for all you thrill seekers, and the Long Hollow Trail offers hiking at its best. Camping at Chatfield is always a glorious experience, and Wakeman Reservoir is right by the South Manitou Park Trail.
