Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Wahatoya Lake Reservoir. Hiking along the Black Hills Trail is delightful fun; lakes are such serene locations, why not visit La Veta Lake North Reservoir. Wahatoya Lake Reservoir is a location that is pretty                  dehydrated frequently; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January. There's so much to do here at Wahatoya Lake Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Circle The wagons RV Park is a nice spot for that, and Best Western Rambler is a nice place to get some rest. Be careful coming to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Pinon Hill is an out of the ordinary thing to catch a glimpse of if you're here at Wahatoya Lake Reservoir, and Wahatoya Lake Reservoir is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Bearadise Cabins and RV Park is a delightful local campground. For the period of the days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Wahatoya Lake Reservoir. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's.
