All the outdoors exciting things in the Front Range will keep you coming back again and again. A lake close by is Wagon Tongue Reservoir, and the Longwater Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. There are some great whitewater spots on South Platte River, and Wagon Tongue Reservoir is a glorious site to camp, Reservoir Campground is a glorious site. Summertime highs at Wagon       Tongue Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Wagon Tongue Reservoir. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Front Range. Not far from Wagon Tongue Reservoir you obtain some great water scenery at Wagon Tongue Dam; going for a hike on the Phantom Creek Trail is always a fine adventure. Dry warm beds await                  you at Greenview South Beach; Corduroy Gulch is definitely a perfect spot to explore. Not much rainfall falls here at Wagon Tongue Reservoir; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. So much fun stuff to do here at Wagon Tongue Reservoir, too perfect to be true. Do pay a visit to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument since you're here at Wagon Tongue Reservoir, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Hankins Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
