This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. While you're here at Wagon Tongue Reservoir you can take a hike along the Hankins Trail, and if you get bored of Wagon Tongue Reservoir you could also go to nearby Wagon Tongue Reservoir. Having a magnificent time in the Front Range is painless. If you came for an overnight stay Wagon Tongue Campground is a nice place to camp, and if       you have time, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth going to. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Front Range. After a long day outdoors Country Lodge is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. It is very dried out here at Wagon Tongue Reservoir commonly; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. If you love the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Wagon                  Tongue Reservoir. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Longwater Trail, and glorious water scenery is available at Wagon Tongue Dam near Wagon Tongue Reservoir. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Wagon Tongue Reservoir, and throughout the night it cools down to the 30's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Wagon Tongue Reservoir tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.
