Vouga Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the San Juan Mountains. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Vouga Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Luders Creek Campground, and it's a fine idea to stop by Mill Creek. Vouga Reservoir is pretty dehydrated mostly; during August this area sees the most rain while April is typically the driest month. High temperatures at Vouga Reservoir through the days of summer       are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Vouga Reservoir dip into the-10's. Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the San Juan Mountains. Stay the night at Monarch Valley Ranch. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Gunnison/Crested                  Butte, and going for a hike on the Quakey Mountain Trail is always a great adventure. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in close proximity to Vouga Reservoir. Vouga Reservoir is next to Vouga Dam which is a charming place unquestionably worth going to; nearby you discover the Fossil Ridge Trail which is a great hiking trail. Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park is a delightful local destination here at Vouga Reservoir; the Gunsight Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. And if that's not enough there's heaps more enjoyable stuff to do in the San Juan Mountains.
