Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the destinations in the vicinity of Viele Lake that are pleasant to go to, and obviously, A journey to Fern Canyon is always fun. At Viele Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is January.

in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Viele Lake plunge into the 10's.
The Mesa Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you're a golfer then a fine nearby course is Flatirons Golf Course.
