Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the destinations close to Viele Lake that are wonderful to go to, and there are brilliant places to discover along the Saddle Rock Trail. Viele Lake gets very little precipitation; through May this area sees the most rain while January is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Fern Canyon is a delightful place to discover, and       while you're here you can play some golf at Flatirons Golf Course. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Front Range has to offer. Take a side trip to Skunk Creek, and don't leave Viele Lake without first going for a hike along the Bear Peak Trail. Viele Lake is located in the Front Range. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Viele Lake has to offer, you can camp at Clear Creek RV Park, and there's whitewater on                  Boulder Creek for all you thrill seekers.
