Go to Vestal Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. All through the long summer days at Vestal Lake highs are mostly in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Vestal Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Vestal Lake is ordinarily a rather waterless spot; the month with most of the rain is August while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

| | If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the San Juan Mountains. There's perfect hiking along the Deer Park Trail; a splendid location for whitewater paddling is Mineral Creek - South.

Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is plentiful here in the San Juan Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around
Vestal Lake; Brooklyn Trail is a glorious local trail. There's so much to do here at Vestal Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Silver Summit RV Park And Jeep Rentals is a pleasant site for that. This lake is so wonderful.
Good hiking is available along the Whitehead Trail, and if you've had enough of Vestal Lake, Arrow Lake is nearby. Vestal Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Silverton Lakes Campground is a glorious local campground;
charming scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Kendall Mountain.
This lake is so wonderful. Arrow Peak is clearly visible from Vestal Lake; get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Animas River.
