Comfort Inn & Suites is a good place to get some rest, and nice skiing awaits you at Sunlight Mountain. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll like Van Cleave-Fisher Reservoir. While you're here at Van Cleave-Fisher Reservoir, you could also pop  
   by charming Hopkins Reservoir; if you come at the right time of year, Grizzly Creek offers some great whitewater.
Van Cleave-Fisher Reservoir is a location that is reasonably dried up commonly; throughout the month of October you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Van Cleave-Fisher Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Sopris RV Park is a fine place
 
               for that; Green Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Summertime highs at Van Cleave-Fisher Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's; night lows at Van Cleave-Fisher Reservoir during the winter generally descend into the 0's.
You don’t have to go far from Van Cleave-Fisher Reservoir to make out the water at Van Cleve-Fisher Dam, and Van Cleave-Fisher Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Glenwood Canyon Resort is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Blue Creek Trail. A quick spree to Fisher Creek in the vicinity of Van Cleave-Fisher Reservoir is a great idea, and playing golf is lots of fun at Ranch at Roaring Fork Golf Course.

located at the foot of Blair Mountain Adams Lake is well worth the trip. Definatly a 4 wheel drive Jeep Trail but only a few miles from Elk lakes, Jet lake, Shadow Lake, Blair lakes , Crater Lake, Deep lake and bison lake. Lots of Cut throat trout, rainbows and browns. Most deffinatly more than a one day trip. Always plan for all kinds of weather, and definitely tent camping only....
