Go to Van Cleave-Fisher Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. Glenwood Canyon Resort is a nice local campground, and Grizzly Creek is a great whitewater spot close by. Getting to Fisher Creek from Van Cleave-Fisher Reservoir is painless. Sunlight Mountain has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff, and going for a hike along the Blue Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Golf Course not far from Van Cleave-Fisher Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a delightful site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Van Cleve-Fisher Dam is a location that is in the
neighborhood of Van Cleave-Fisher Reservoir, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roaring Fork. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. If you came for an overnight stay Sopris RV Park is a pleasant site to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Carbondale-Days Inn.
