What a nice lake Vallecito Reservoir is. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is plentiful here in the San Juan Mountains. If you need a site to stay Tamarron Resort is a delightful choice; if you're popping by from Durango, you won't be the only one. Having a magnificent time at Vallecito Reservoir is painless. Canyon Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot near Vallecito Reservoir, and a good place nearby is Browns Canyon. There's no way someone can get bored here

This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains. Hiking along the Pine-Piedra Stock Driveway is glorious fun, and good water scenery is available at Vallecito Dam next to Vallecito Reservoir. spot like Dunsworth Park here at Vallecito Reservoir is too pleasant to miss.
Around Vallecito Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here; June on the other hand is the driest.
