Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Mineral Creek - South; after a long day outdoors Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel is a fine location to spend a night or two. The San Juan Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Why not camp at Silverton Lakes Campground since you're here at Vallecito Lake, and if you come at the right time of

So many fun things in the San Juan Mountains, just unbelievable. Some close by water includes Nebo Creek, and you can catch a glimpse of The Guardian from Vallecito Lake. Lake. Take a hike on the Brooklyn Trail, and a nice place to camp here at Vallecito Lake is Silver Summit RV Park And Jeep Rentals.
If you feel like a little side journey, try Hunchback Pass. Vallecito Lake is pretty arid mostly;
the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is June. This lake is so wonderful. This is a perfect area for people who like lakes. Eldorado Lake is a lake around here, and why not take a refreshing
hike along the Deer Park Trail.
Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Vallecito Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows all
through the winter for Vallecito Lake tend to be in the 0's. Kendall Mountain is a very popular ski area around here; Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel is a great location to get some rest.
