Summertime highs at V H Pasture Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at V H Pasture Reservoir are in the 0's. V H Pasture Reservoir is a location that is quite dehydrated frequently; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. | | River in a kayak. There's so much to do here at V H Pasture Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Antone Spring Campground is a glorious site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Near V H Pasture Reservoir you find the Horsefly Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and Sawdust Gulch is also a wonderful site to explore. Going for a hike on the Paradox Road is always a glorious adventure, and V H Pasture Reservoir is a spot with many visitors | |

from Montrose. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, too good to be true. Sidehill Reservoir is a perfect lake right next door to V H Pasture Reservoir, and you can stay the night at Iron Spring
Campground. All year is a perfect time in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Get yourself into a kayak and hit San Miguel River, and a spree to V H Pasture Reservoir wouldn't be complete
without taking a look at Lost Spring. There are great places to explore along the Dry Creek Trail. If only every spot had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great earth it would be. Dry warm beds await you at Mountain Lodge
at Telluride, and perfect skiing awaits you at Telluride. There are other spots here than V H Pasture Reservoir, for example Vurl Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Fairmont Franz Klammer Lodge is a good site to spend a night or two. The Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
