Do stop by Ute Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Park Range is peerless! After a long day outdoors CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and if you come at the right time of year, North Platte River offers some splendid whitewater. Take a hike on the Ute Pass Trail, and Twin Lake is a tremendous lake close by. During the warm days of summer, highs typically are

| | in the 70's at Ute Lake with night lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Ute Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Elk Park is a great location to check out. There's so much to do here at Ute Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lakeside Campground is a great site for that. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Elk River, and Bear Mountain is beautiful and can be seen from here. Man, is there | |

to do here in the Park Range. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Ute Lake has to offer, you can camp at Helena Campground, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Blue Lake Trail. This lake is located
in the wonderful Park Range. Ute Lake is a location that is pretty arid commonly; the month with most of the rain is April, and the driest of the months is January.
This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Steamboat is just what you need.
