Many people like to go to Ute Lake. You can run the rapids of North Platte River right next door to Ute Lake, and you can stay the night at Helena Campground. You definitely must adore the Park Range. You'll stumble on a pretty lake called Blue Lake near Ute Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Ute Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lakeside Campground. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Steamboat is tremendous.

| | After a long day outdoors CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a delightful spot to spend a night or two, and going for a hike along the Twin Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. For the duration of the summer months at Ute Lake highs are typically in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. Man, is there lots of cool stuff to do in the Park Range. Get your heart
beating on the good whitewater of Elk River, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Ute Pass Trail. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. A visit to Elk Park revives the spirit; if the weather
is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Blue Lake Trail. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful.
Lakes are such peaceful places, why not have a look at Twin Lake right next door to Ute Lake; the summit of Bear Mountain can be made out from Ute Lake.
