Why not take a refreshing hike along the Ute Peak Trail, and Ute Park is a great place to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Keystone is a great local ski area, and camping is available at Boulder Creek Campground. So many enjoyable
things in the Park Range, just mind-blowing. Ute Creek Dam is a pretty location in close proximity to Ute Creek Reservoir, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Loveland is relatively near.
Since you might be in a lake visiting
mood you can always explore close by East Branch Reservoir, and 1st Inn Silverthorne is a fine spot to get some rest. Just can't get enough of the Park Range. The Ute Pass Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.
The sight of Prairie Mountain from Ute Creek Reservoir is pretty; if you need a site to stay Silverthorne Days Inn is a great choice.
And that's not everything there is to do here in the Park Range. Take a hike on the Williams Peak Trail; a good site for whitewater paddling is Blue River.
