Do stop by Upper Twin Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. Summertime highs at Upper Twin Lake usually tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Upper Twin Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Joe Wright Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot close to Upper Twin Lake, and Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr is a splendid spot to get some rest.

| | Upper Twin Lake is pretty waterless typically; during the month of May you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
North Rawah Peak is clearly visible from Upper Twin Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Link Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Be careful coming to the Medicine Bow Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Why not camp at | |

Hooligan Roost Campground while you're here at Upper Twin Lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River.

things already but it goes on, the Medicine Bow Mountains has it all. If you came for an overnight stay Browns Park Campground is a good site to camp. You clearly should love Upper Twin Lake. A lake close by is Big Rainbow Lake; going
for a hike on the McIntyre Lake Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Upper Twin Lake is not the only site close by, Kelly Lake is a close by lake, and great hiking is available along the Rawah Trail.
