Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Upper Twin Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 30's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Upper Twin Lake all through the wintertime regularly descend into the 0's. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even       more exciting stuff to do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. There's whitewater on Cache La Poudre River for all you adrenaline junkies, and the McIntyre Lake Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. Upper Twin Lake is pretty dehydrated ordinarily; May is when you get the most rain here; January is when it's the driest. Upper Twin Lake is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Browns Park Campground is                  a great place to camp, and nearby you find the Rawah Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
