It is very dried out here at Upper Twin Lake usually; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Beaver Brook Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Barbara Gulch is another brilliant place to check out nearby. Get soaked paddling       on Clear Creek; Drury Inn Suites HOU Woodlands is a fine site to get some rest. So many exciting things to do here at Upper Twin Lake, too fine to be true. For you golfers we recommend nearby Heritage Golf Course at Westmoor, and some nearby water includes Moon Gulch. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder Creek - South, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Mesa Trail. Throughout the summer at Upper Twin                  Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's; night lows in the 10's for Upper Twin Lake. You could also stop at Last Chance Reservoir Number 1 while you're here at Upper Twin Lake; it's nearby, and Upper Twin Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Prospect RV Park is a good local campground. Yeah, come here to Upper Twin Lake for a brilliant time. Leyden Dam is worth visiting since you're here, and Upper Twin Lake is not the only site close by, Leyden Lake is a close by lake.
