That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Upper Storm Lake has it all. Clear Creek - West Fork is a good whitewater spot in close proximity to Upper Storm Lake. And that's not everything you can do here in the Front Range. Good hiking is available along the Diamond Lake Trail, and you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Winter Park. At Upper Storm Lake you don’t see much rainfall; of all       the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Beaver Village Condominiums is a nice choice, and a wonderful lake like Storm Lake is a great site to go to. On a pretty day you acquire a sight of Mount Jasper from Upper Storm Lake, and you can run the rapids of Boulder Creek. So many exciting things in the Front Range, just tremendous. If you                  came for an overnight stay Buckingham Campground is a magnificent place to camp, and a splendid site to explore is Arapaho Pass. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Fourth of July Campground while you're here at Upper Storm Lake; Devils Thumb is an attention-grabbing place to stop at while at Upper Storm Lake. Zephyr Mountain Lodge is a pleasant site to get some rest; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Jasper Dam. And that's not all you can do here at Upper Storm Lake. Go for a hike on the Columbine Lake Trail; lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Upper Diamond Lake. Going for a hike on the Devils Thumb Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and skiing at Berthoud Pass is one of those things you just have to do. Throughout the summer months here at Upper Storm Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's with night lows in the 40's.
