Life's too short to       enjoy all the cool stuff near Upper Slate Lake. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Vail Golf Club, and people from Silverthorne love to come here. Upper Slate Lake is located in the Park Range. You could also stop by Slate Lake while you're here at Upper Slate Lake; it's nearby, and float down the rapids of Blue River in a kayak. You completely should like the Park Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Gore Creek, and why not camp at Davis Springs Campground if you're here at Upper Slate Lake. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the Park Range.
