A visit to Upper Sandbar Lake is always a good idea. This lake is one of the great places here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr is a perfect choice, and camping is available at Hooligan Roost Campground. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Cache La Poudre River offers some fine whitewater, and a lake

The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Upper Sandbar Lake while overnight lows are commonly in the 30's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Upper Sandbar Lake throughout the winter ordinarily dip into the 0's. but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Upper Sandbar Lake. Good hiking is available along the McIntyre Lake Trail; Grassy Pass is a wonderful site to take a look at.
Getting to Camp Creek from Upper Sandbar Lake is painless,
and North Rawah Peak is gorgeous and can be made out from here. So many amusing things in the Medicine Bow Mountains, just astonishing. Drift down the rapids of Joe Wright Creek in a kayak, and don't miss out on a magnificent swamp;
Rawah Bog is right here at Upper Sandbar Lake.
Upper Sandbar Lake is frequently a reasonably arid place; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. A great location to camp here at Upper Sandbar Lake is Browns Park Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Upper Sandbar Lake; North Fork Trail is a perfect local trail.
