A tremendous close by hotel is Fairfield Pagosa Resort, and Whispering Pines Condominums is a brilliant place to get some rest. Take a hike on the Rainbow Trail, and if the weather is gorgeous, you get a great panorama of Cherry Cairn from Upper Fourmile Lake. For the duration of the summertime at Upper Fourmile Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 30's. All through the winter highs       are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Upper Fourmile Lake. Man, is there a load of exciting things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Wolf Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by; Upper Fourmile Lake is right by the Fourmile Stock Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Falls Creek is near Upper Fourmile Lake and is always a diversion to check out, and a great                  place to camp here at Upper Fourmile Lake is West Fork Campground. Upper Fourmile Lake is mostly a relatively dehydrated place; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on San Juan River, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Wolf Creek is reasonably near. Upper Fourmile Lake really is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Nearby lakes? Sure, Fourmile Lake is near Upper Fourmile Lake, and the Turkey Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. You definitely should adore the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
