You're sure to run into some good folks from Montrose here; you must undeniably dedicate some time to Cottonwood Basin while you're here at Upper Ed Lee Reservoir. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not explore Big Monitor Reservoir Number 1 near Upper Ed Lee Reservoir, and the Moore Mesa Trail is a tremendous hiking trail | |

close by. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Sundance is a pleasant place to get some rest.
San Miguel River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by, and Upper Ed Lee Reservoir is a tremendous place to visit for
more than one day, Antone Spring Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Upper Ed Lee Reservoir with overnight lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's;
overnight lows in the 10's for Upper Ed Lee Reservoir. And if that's not enough there's loads more exciting things to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. There's always Upper Ed Lee Dam to stop by in the vicinity of Upper Ed
Lee Reservoir; since you're here you can take a hike along the Monitor Mesa Trail.
Just can't get enough of the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. A scenic lake like Middle Monitor Reservoir near Upper Ed Lee Reservoir is a glorious spot to have a look at; Smokehouse Campground is a good campground nearby.
