Hiking along the Devils Thumb Trail is glorious fun, and get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Boulder Creek. Not much precipitation falls here at Upper Diamond Lake; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. Upper Diamond Lake is a beautiful lake in the Front Range. Devils Thumb is an interesting thing to catch a sight of       if you're here at Upper Diamond Lake, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Diamond Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can spot Mount Jasper from Upper Diamond Lake, and after a long day outdoors Beaver Village Condominiums is a perfect site to spend a night or two. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are in fact bountiful here at Upper Diamond Lake. Berthoud Pass is a very popular ski area close by; why not camp at Fourth of July Campground                  while you're here at Upper Diamond Lake. Upper Diamond Lake is in the neighborhood of Arapaho Pass which is undeniably worth taking a look at, and why not head up to Winter Park and strap some skis to your feet. A tremendous spot for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Upper Diamond Lake is Clear Creek - West Fork; why not take a look at Jasper Dam if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Storm Lake, and going for a hike along the Columbine Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
