Mount Jasper is clearly visible from Upper Diamond Lake; if you've had enough of Upper Diamond Lake, Storm Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Near Upper Diamond Lake you hit upon Arapaho Pass which is a tremendous site to stop by, and Devils Thumb is an attention-grabbing location to pop by while at Upper Diamond Lake. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining       things the area in close proximity to Upper Diamond Lake has to offer. A splendid location for whitewater paddling close to Upper Diamond Lake is Clear Creek - West Fork. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Berthoud Pass; if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Devils Thumb Trail. Having a nice time in the Front Range is painless. If you need a location to stay Beaver Village Condominiums is a tremendous                  choice; you're perhaps into lakes, Upper Storm Lake is one of those nearby. Upper Diamond Lake is a location that is pretty dried up mostly; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Upper Diamond Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Upper Diamond Lake. Get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Boulder Creek, and Zephyr Mountain Lodge is a great place to get some rest. Fourth of July Campground is a tremendous local campground; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Winter Park while you're here. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the Front Range has to offer. There is a good hiking trail next to Upper Diamond Lake called the Columbine Lake Trail, and why not go to Jasper Dam since you're here. Upper Diamond Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Buckingham Campground is a nice campground nearby, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Diamond Lake Trail.
