This lake is so wonderful. Boulder Creek is a glorious whitewater spot next to Upper Coney Lake, and the Buchanan Pass Trail offers hiking at its best. For the period of the long summer days at Upper Coney Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are regularly in the 20's, and winter nights       come with lows in the 0's to Upper Coney Lake. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is abundant here in the Front Range. A lake nearby is Lake Isabelle, and there's glorious hiking along the Mount Audubon Trail.
