If you are in Clear Creek county it's always a good idea to stop by Upper Chinns Reservoir. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear Creek, and don't leave Upper Chinns Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Sevenmile Ski Trail. Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Camping at Upper Chinns Reservoir is delightful fun, Spruce Lodge Campground is a delightful local campground, and Clear Creek - West Fork is a great whitewater spot close by. For the period
of the summertime months here at Upper Chinns Reservoir, high temperatures typically get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and night
lows in the 0's for Upper Chinns Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. From Upper Chinns Reservoir you get a pleasant vista of Mount Bancroft, and Bill Moore Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
