Summertime highs at Upper Camp Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Upper Camp Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do near Upper Camp Lake. Paddling on Fryingpan       River is so much fun; why not take a refreshing hike along the Last Chance Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Beaver Creek is just what you need, and dry warm beds await you at Centennial Condominiums. Not much rain falls here at Upper Camp Lake; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Stay the night at Fulford Cave Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Upper Camp                  Lake; Lake Charles Trail is a good local trail. So much fun stuff to do here in the Sawatch Range, too great to be true. A scenic lake like Big Lake near Upper Camp Lake is a good spot to go to, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Edwards. This lake is so wonderful. Upper Camp Lake is a wonderful place to camp, Elk Wallow Campground is a wonderful place; you acquire a brilliant sight of Avalanche Peak from here. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Vail is close to Upper Camp Lake, and if you need a place to stay The Charter At Beaver Creek is a magnificent choice. Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do in the Sawatch Range.
