So much cool stuff to do at Upper Blue Reservoir, so little time. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Crested Butte; the Burro Trail offers hiking at its best. Upper Blue Reservoir is pretty dehydrated typically; the month with most of the rain is July, and January is the month with the least moisture. At Upper Blue Reservoir you can see Atlantic       Peak, and Upper Blue Reservoir is right by the Wheeler Trail. If you're popping by Upper Blue Reservoir from Silverthorne, you won't be the only one, and Crystal Peak Lodge is a glorious place to get some rest. Get covered with water paddling on Arkansas River, and Mohawk Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. This place is peerless, just look at all the exciting things to do in close proximity to Upper Blue Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.                  Get yourself into a kayak and hit Tenmile Creek; Kite Lake Campground is a delightful local campground. Very wonderful water scenery is available at Upper Blue Dam close to Upper Blue Reservoir, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Upper Blue Reservoir; Wheeler Trail is a splendid local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Really great skiing awaits you at Breckenridge; Upper Blue Reservoir is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Beaver Creek Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby. At Upper Blue Reservoir through the warm months highs are in the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's.
