These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing things to do in the Sawatch Range.       There's whitewater on Arkansas River for all you adrenaline people, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the South Pine Creek Trail. Twin Lakes Reservoir is usually a rather arid place; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. At Twin Lakes Reservoir throughout the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The wintertime brings highs                  down to the 20's, and overnight lows at Twin Lakes Reservoir during the winter commonly sink into the-10's.
