Through the warm days of summer highs here at Twin Lakes reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Twin Lakes are in the 0's. And that's not all you can do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. If you need a site to stay Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr is a delightful choice; nearby you come across the Blue Lake Trail       which is a glorious hiking trail. So many fun things in the Medicine Bow Mountains, just mind-boggling. Whitewater paddling is fine on Joe Wright Creek. Lakes? Sure, Joe Wright Reservoir is close by. This lake is so wonderful. A good spot to camp here at Twin Lakes is Skyline Campground; do put some time aside to spend at Poudre Falls while you're here at Twin Lakes. Not far from Twin Lakes, you'll come across Trap Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and paddling                  on Cache La Poudre River is so much fun. Twin Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. At Twin Lakes you don’t see much rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the West Branch Trail is always a perfect adventure. An out of the ordinary thing to go to near Twin Lakes is Larimie Lake Dam, and why not a little side spree to Two and One Half Creek. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Twin Lakes.
