Twin Lakes is a nice lake to visit. You can run the rapids of Rio Grande next to Twin Lakes, and Twin Lakes is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Chiflo Campground is a glorious local campground. For the period of the long summer days, highs generally are in the 80's at Twin Lakes. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 30's while Twin Lakes overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the

| | 0's. At Twin Lakes you don’t see much rain; August is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Park Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. There's so much to do here at Twin Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Sheep Crossing Campground is a delightful location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Ski Rio is a good location to do that. | |
