All the outdoors exciting things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. This lake is so wonderful. Conejos River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and Twin Lakes is right by the Conejos Trail. Twin Lakes is one of the lakes here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.       A great deal of rainfall falls at Twin Lakes; through the month of March you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is June. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Twin Lakes. Twin Lakes is a brilliant site to visit for more than one day, Mix Lake Campground is a brilliant site to camp nearby; if you need a place to stay Branding Iron Motel is a wonderful choice. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Twin Lakes with overnight lows                  in the 40's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Twin Lakes. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Laguna Ruybal is a brilliant lake near Twin Lakes, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Twin Lakes; South Fork Trail is a good local trail.
