If you are in Chaffee county it's always a good idea to stop by Twin Lakes. Twin Lakes is a location that is pretty arid mostly; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Sawatch Range. Everybody close by loves skiing at Monarch; since you're here you can take a hike along the Horn Fork Trail. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one

| | place! The Sawatch Range rules! After a long day outdoors Best Western Vista Inn is a great location to spend a night or two; camping at Hughes Meadow Campground is always a brilliant experience.
Get soaked paddling on Clear Creek; the panorama of beautiful Emerald Peak is tremendous. Lakes are such calm locations, why not go to Lake Claire near Twin Lakes; camping is available at Parry Peak Campground. Having a tremendous time at Twin Lakes is painless. Have | |

a great hiking adventure along the Texas Creek Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Lake Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Buena Vista Super 8 Motel is a splendid choice, and you might also want
to pay a visit to Elkhead Pass since you're here at Twin Lakes. Summertime highs at Twin Lakes usually tend to be in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs
in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Twin Lakes descend into the-10's.
Twin Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Ski Cooper is tremendous, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the South Pine Creek Trail.
