Go for a hike on the Texas Creek Trail, and Elkhead Pass is another good place to pop by nearby. For the duration of the months of summer at Twin Lakes temperatures are frequently in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; night lows through the winter for Twin Lakes tend to be in the-10's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy       all the enjoyable things at Twin Lakes. Parry Peak Campground is a delightful local campground; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Buena Vista. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Vista Inn is a nice location to get some rest, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lake Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Twin Lakes, you'll find Silver King Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and Clear                  Creek is a good whitewater spot nearby. Good hiking is available along the South Pine Creek Trail, and there are other places here than Twin Lakes, for example Lake Claire. Twin Lakes is a location that is relatively arid ordinarily; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ski Cooper while you're here; don't leave Twin Lakes without first going for a hike along the Horn Fork Trail. You can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Monarch. Twin Lakes is located in the Sawatch Range.
