Why not stop by Twin Lakes if you're passing through these parts. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Twin Lakes called the Main Range Trail, and lakes are such serene places, why not have a look at Twin Lakes Reservoir. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Twin Lakes, too glorious to be true. Twin Lakes is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Lake View Campground is a brilliant

| | local campground, and going for a hike on the Pine Creek Trail is always a good adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. Near Twin Lakes you locate Holmes Gulch which is a pleasant site to pop by, and if you come at the right time of year, Clear Creek offers some good whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Do check out Twin Lakes Dam since you're here at Twin Lakes, and after a long day outdoors Delaware Hotel is a delightful place to spend a night or two. | |

Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Twin Lakes. Summer night lows plunge down to the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Twin Lakes are in the-10's.
So much exciting stuff to do in
the Sawatch Range, not sufficient time. If you came to camp White Star Campground is a good spot to do that, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Leadville. This location, the Sawatch Range, has so much outdoors fun stuff.
There are glorious sites to look at along the Mount Elbert Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Cooper. At Twin Lakes you don’t see much rain; through August this area sees the most rain while
October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Yeah, come here to Twin Lakes for a perfect time. Looking for some flowing water? Try Box Creek, and a pretty lake like Cozart Reservoir is a glorious place to explore.
Drift down the rapids of Arkansas River in a kayak, and why not head up to Copper Mountain and strap some skis to your feet.
