Twin Lakes is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Twin Lakes is pretty dried up generally; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is June. All year is a tremendous time in the San Juan Mountains if you like the outdoors. You can take a little journey to Little Oso Dam if you're here at Twin Lakes; camping at Twin Lakes is delightful fun, Blanco River Campground is a delightful local campground. And if that's not enough, there's

| | a heap more to do near Twin Lakes. Near Twin Lakes you stumble on the Leche Creek Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and Twin Lakes is a tremendous place to camp, The Last Resort RV Park and Campground is a tremendous place. This lake is so wonderful. The panorama of Cornish Hill from Twin Lakes is charming, and you can run the rapids of Rio Blanco. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Jicarilla Inn, and Wolf Creek is a very popular ski area nearby. | |

Going for a hike on the Blanco River Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and if you need a spot to stay Best Value High Country Lodge is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the V Rock Trail. So
much entertaining stuff to do here in the San Juan Mountains, too delightful to be true. Get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Navajo River, and why not take a little trip to Spring Creek since you're here. Summertime at
Twin Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Twin Lakes temperatures sink to the 0's. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan Mountains.
