Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cache La Poudre River - South Fork, and The Evergreens On Fall River is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Estes Park Condos is a great place to spend a night or two, and nearby you find the Hourglass Trail which is a good hiking trail. There's just       no way anybody can get bored here at Twin Lake Reservoir. Why not camp at Fish Creek Campground while you're here at Twin Lake Reservoir; lakes are such peaceful locations, why not stop at Pennock Creek Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Pingree Park is right here at Twin Lake Reservoir, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Stormy Peaks Trail. Camping is available at Tom Bennett Campground, and the Lost Lake Trail is a delightful hiking                  trail nearby. The panoramas at Rocky Mountain National Park will blow your mind, and some of the water nearby flows, like Beaver Creek. Twin Lake Reservoir is pretty waterless ordinarily; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is December. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Cache La Poudre River. At Twin Lake Reservoir during the days of summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 30's while Twin Lake Reservoir overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's.
