This lake is so wonderful. Twin Lake Number 1 is usually a pretty waterless location; most of the rain falls throughout March, and June is the month with the least moisture. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Green Mountain Trail, and Sackett Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. If you came to camp Weir and Johnson Campground is a nice site to do that, and not far from Twin Lake Number       1 you'll find Twin Lake Number 2 which is a stunning lake. Throughout the warm months highs here at Twin Lake Number 1 reach the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Twin Lake Number 1. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the High Foot Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge. There's so much to do                  here at Twin Lake Number 1 that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Lake Campground is a great place for that. Lakes? Sure, Twin Lakes Number 2 is in the vicinity. This site is peerless, just explore all the cool stuff to do next to Twin Lake Number 1. Take a hike on the East Leon Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Gunnison River.
