The beauty of Twin Lake attracts many people from all around. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Twin Lake. During your visit to Twin Lake you'll meet some people from Montrose for sure; going for a hike on the Monitor Mesa Trail is always a good adventure. This lake is so wonderful. You definitely must love the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Looking for something right next door to Twin Lake? Beaver Reservoir is close by;

This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Moore Mesa Trail, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a glimpse of at Twin Lakes Dam close to Twin Lake. Near Twin Lake you hit upon the Cottonwood Trail which is a good hiking trail, and while you're here at Twin Lake it's a splendid idea to pop by Cottonwood Basin. The Uncompahgre Plateau
Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Around Twin Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is June. If you came for an overnight stay Smokehouse Campground is a splendid
location to camp, and paddling on Escalante Creek is so much fun.
Man, is there heaps of entertaining things to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Camping at Twin Lake is magnificent fun, T Bone Spring Campground is a magnificent local campground, and Best Western Sundance is a magnificent spot to get some rest.
