Stay the night at Skyline Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Joe Wright Creek offers some great whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr. So many cool things to do here at Twin Crater Lakes, too tremendous to be true. There's good hiking along the West Branch Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then,       we recommend Cache La Poudre River. This lake is so wonderful. Sheep Mountain is striking and can be distinguished from Twin Crater Lakes; there are other sites here than Twin Crater Lakes, for example Rockhole Lake. Twin Crater Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Medicine Bow Mountains. It is very dried out here at Twin Crater Lakes regularly; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is ordinarily the driest month. All the outdoors                  amusing stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Take a little visit to West Branch Laramie River since you're here at Twin Crater Lakes, and Grassy Pass is close at hand, and is a nice location. The Rawah Trail offers hiking at its best, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out Carey Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Medicine Bow Mountains. Good hiking is available along the North Fork Trail. There's so much to do here at Twin Crater Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Tunnel Campground is a glorious location for that. All through the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Twin Crater Lakes. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 30's.
