This lake is so wonderful. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Twentyfive Mesa Reservoir. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Twentyfive Mesa Reservoir. Nearby The Narrows is a great location to go if you're at Twentyfive Mesa Reservoir, and you can stay the       night at Dinner Station - Gunnison National Forest. Not much rain falls here at Twentyfive Mesa Reservoir; throughout October this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the area next to Twentyfive Mesa Reservoir has to offer. You'll meet a lot of people from Montrose here, and if you need a spot to stay Westways Court is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking                  is available along the Ben Lowe Trail, and Escalante Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot nearby. There are brilliant places to explore along the Winter Mesa Trail, and Amphitheater - Gunnison National Forest is a brilliant campground here. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kannah Creek; you can go for a hike on the Long Gulch Trail.
