What a nice lake Turner Reservoir is. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Front Range will keep you coming back again and again. Best Western Royal Gorge Motel is a good place to get some rest; why not camp at Maverick Trailer Park while you're here at Turner Reservoir.
If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Shadow Hills Golf Club is close by, and there's some flowing water close

| | by, Wilson Creek is a stream you can stop by while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Royal Gorge Inn Canon City; get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Grape Creek. Take a hike on the Sheeley Trail, and Turner Reservoir is not the only spot close by, Lone Tree Reservoir is a close by lake.

Beds National Monument is a national park worth checking out, and this is a popular place for people from Canon City. Yeah, come up here to the Front Range for a good time. Camping at Turner Reservoir is wonderful fun, Rv Station
Campground is a wonderful local campground, and Turner Reservoir is right by the Stultz Trail.
Not much rainfall falls here at Turner Reservoir; August is the month that gets the most rain; January is the month with the least
moisture. This place, Turner Reservoir, it truly has so much outdoors cool stuff. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Arkansas River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Tanner Trail.
