Why not stop by Turner Reservoir if you're passing through these parts. If time allows, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth visiting. Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do close to Turner Reservoir. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Sheeley Trail; if you need a spot to stay Best Western Royal Gorge Motel is a tremendous choice. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Turner Reservoir. | | fall down into the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's; nighttime lows at Turner Reservoir during the wintertime frequently dip into the-10's.

Trail is a splendid local trail, and do visit Wilson Creek if you're here at Turner Reservoir. There's magnificent hiking along the Tanner Trail, and a magnificent place for whitewater paddling is Arkansas River.
Turner Reservoir
is pretty dehydrated generally; August is when you get the most rain here while January is mostly the driest month. All year is a great time in the Front Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. Park Center L and W Number 10
Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Grape Creek. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Front Range. If you
came for an overnight stay Maverick Trailer Park is a nice spot to camp, and Budget Host Royal Gorge Inn Canon City is a good spot to get some rest.
People from Canon City love to come to Turner Reservoir; Rv Station Campground is a great local campground. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful.
