If you are in Archuleta county it's always a good idea to stop by Turkey Springs Reservoir. Turkey Springs Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the San Juan Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Pagosa Springs Golf Club not far from Turkey Springs Reservoir. All the outdoors fun stuff in the San Juan Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. There's good hiking along the Piedra Stock Trail, and the skiing at Wolf Creek is great.

Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Pagosa Springs, and Turkey Springs Reservoir is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Turkey Springs Campground is a wonderful local campground. Throughout the warm months here at Turkey Springs Reservoir, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 30's. So much cool stuff to do
here at Turkey Springs Reservoir, too magnificent to be true. The Fourmile Stock Trail offers hiking at its best; a spree to Turkey Springs Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Butcher Spring. This lake is so wonderful.
If the weather is wonderful, you obtain a magnificent panorama of Brockover Mesa from Turkey Springs Reservoir; if you need a location to stay Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a delightful choice. There are some good whitewater spots on
San Juan River; a magnificent place to camp here at Turkey Springs Reservoir is Happy Camper RV Park.
Turkey Springs Reservoir is right by the Middle Mountain Trail, and not far from Turkey Springs Reservoir you'll hit upon Gopher Reservoir which is a beautiful lake.
