Do stop by Turkey Springs Reservoir while you're in this part of Colorado. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Turkey Springs Reservoir. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Wolf Creek is right next door to Turkey Springs Reservoir, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Piedra Stock Trail. Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Turkey Springs Reservoir is tremendous

| | enough to spend more than a day at, Happy Camper RV Park is a tremendous local campground, and if you need a place to stay Keyah Grande Resort is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful.
So many cool things to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, too brilliant to be true. There's whitewater on San Juan River for all you adrenaline junkies, and close by you hit upon the Middle Mountain Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Turkey Springs | |

Reservoir gets very little rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Turkey Springs Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
This lake is
so wonderful. From Turkey Springs Reservoir you get a good vista of Brockover Mesa; a fine close by hotel is Fairfield Pagosa Resort. There's so much to do here at Turkey Springs Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Turkey
Springs Campground is a good location for that, and Butcher Spring is always fun to check out. Summertime at Turkey Springs Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's; the nighttime is a little chillier of course, mostly in
the 30's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's; night lows during the winter for Turkey Springs Reservoir tend to be in the-10's.
There is a wonderful hiking trail close to Turkey Springs Reservoir called the Fourmile Stock Trail, and Pagosa Springs Golf Club is a golf course close by.
