The Timberline Trail is a great hiking trail close to Truro Lake, and VillaHotel Bears Creek is a glorious spot to get some rest. Summer at Truro Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down       through the winter temperatures at Truro Lake fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Galena Creek since you're here at Truro Lake, and a good close by hotel is The Alpenblick By Aspen Lodging Company. Truro Lake is pretty dehydrated usually; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is when it's the driest. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Truro Lake. Near Truro Lake you locate the Matchless Trail                  which is a fine hiking trail, and the skiing at Aspen Mountain is glorious. A lake nearby is Jack Lake, and Larson Peak can be distinguished from Truro Lake. Camping is available at Lost Man Campground; there's whitewater on Lake Creek for all you thrill seekers. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Portal Campground is always a tremendous experience, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Star Trail.
