     Man, is there plenty of cool stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Troutvale Reservoir Number 1 is a wonderful lake right next door to Troutvale Reservoir Number 2, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Troutvale Reservoir Number 2; Cebolla Trail is a perfect local trail. Lakes? Sure, Brown Lakes is nearby, and whitewater paddling is great on Lake Fork Gunnison River. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with  
   water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Grande.
This lake is so wonderful. Road Canyon Campground is a great campground nearby; don't leave Troutvale Reservoir Number 2 without first going for a hike along the Fern Creek Stock Driveway. Troutvale Reservoir Number 2 is a beautiful lake in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. So much cool stuff to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, too great to be true. South Clear Creek Falls Campground
 
               is a great local campground, and on a wonderful day you obtain a great vista of Minnie Mountain from Troutvale Reservoir Number 2.
Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Pagosa Resort, and swing by Mason Creek it's a perfect location to stop at. This location is excellent, just look at all the cool things to do right next door to Troutvale Reservoir Number 2. A good place to check out right next door to Troutvale Reservoir Number 2 is House Canyon, and great hiking is available along the Long Ridge Stock Driveway. Troutvale Reservoir Number 2 is ordinarily a pretty dried out place; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February.
High temperatures at Troutvale Reservoir Number 2 through the summertime are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Troutvale Reservoir Number 2 temperatures drop to the-10's.
