Jemez Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Grande, and hiking along the Long Ridge Stock Driveway is perfect fun. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Trout Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 30's.
The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Trout Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Trout Lake has to offer, you can camp at Road Canyon Campground, and do take a hike on the Fern Creek Stock Driveway.
