If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Trap Lake. A magnificent view of striking Bald Mountain is available from Trap Lake, and if you've had enough of Trap Lake, Joe Wright Reservoir is nearby. Peterson Park is a fine location to check out, and Trap Lake is not the only site close by, Zimmerman Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Cache La Poudre

Summertime highs at Trap Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Trap Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to Box Canyon is always fun. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Trap Lake has to offer, you can camp at Grand View Campground. | |

There's delightful hiking along the Big South Trail.
Trap Lake is a location that is reasonably dried up frequently; May is the wettest month with most rain; January is when it's the driest. This site is great, just check out
all the enjoyable things to do near Trap Lake. At Peterson Lake Dam in close proximity to Trap Lake there are some interesting things to see, and if you need a place to stay Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr is a good choice. Inn At
Grand Lake, The is a tremendous site to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Trap Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Big South Campground is a nice site for that.
Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater
of Joe Wright Creek; hiking is a popular thing to do around Trap Lake; Corral Park Trail is a magnificent local trail.
