Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Trap Lake while night lows are commonly in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Trap       Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Trap Lake, you could also check out gorgeous Peterson Lake, and you might also want to pay a visit to Box Canyon if you're here at Trap Lake. A great close by hotel is Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr, and Grass Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Inn At Grand Lake, The is a delightful site to get some rest. A tremendous site to camp here at Trap Lake is Grand View Campground; at Trap Lake you can                  catch a glimpse of Bald Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Montgomery Pass Trail is always a great adventure, and you can run the rapids of Joe Wright Creek. On a delightful day at Trap Lake you can take a hike along the Big South Trail, and at Peterson Lake Dam near Trap Lake there are some exciting things to see. There is a fine hiking trail close to Trap Lake called the Corral Park Trail, and there's whitewater on Cache La Poudre River for all you adrenaline junkies.
