Trail Reservoir is generally a pretty dried up location; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Trail Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Paradox Road, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Uncompahgre River. Trail Reservoir is located in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here

Plateau Mountains. Lakes? Sure, Loss Reservoir is nearby; you'll meet a lot of people from Montrose here. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Trail Reservoir get into the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's
typically in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Trail Reservoir dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Trail Reservoir, you'll find
Z K Reservoir which is a striking lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Trail Reservoir; Dry Creek Trail is a brilliant local trail. So much enjoyable stuff in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, just striking. There's glorious hiking along the Spring Creek Trail; if you need a location to stay Hampton Inn Montrose is a great choice.
