If you are traveling by, why not stop by Town Lakes. Best Western Rambler is a glorious place to get some rest, and why not take a little trip to Middle Creek since you're here. Be careful coming to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Eldora since you're here; if you're a golfer then a magnificent close by course is Grandote Peaks Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful.

If you need a place to stay Knights Inn Walensburg is a delightful choice, and Bearadise Cabins and RV Park is a great campground nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. This lake is
so wonderful. There's pleasant hiking along the Black Hills Trail; the Wade Trail offers hiking at its best. At Town Lakes you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is January.
