There are some good whitewater spots on Boulder Creek - South; folks from Boulder love to come here. Get yourself into a kayak and hit South Platte River, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Tom Frost Reservoir; Bear Peak Trail is a great local trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Savannah Suites Denver N is a perfect choice, and you can go for a hike on the Mesa Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything

If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Broadlands Golf Course is nearby; a beautiful lake like Le Gault Reservoir is a tremendous site to stop by. Reservoir, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Tom Frost Reservoir temperatures drop to the 10's. Tom Frost Reservoir
is frequently a relatively waterless site; the month with most of the rain is May, and January is when it's the driest. Fairfield Inn Denver North/Westminster is a great place to get some rest; why not pop by Tom Frost Dam since you're here.
