Lakes are such calm sites, why not go to A-20 Reservoir in the neighborhood of Todd Reservoir, and Smith Irrigation Dam has pleasant water scenery. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Brighton is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and there are some       nice whitewater spots on South Platte River. You'll meet a lot of folks from Denver-Aurora here, and why not camp at Delux RV Park while you're here at Todd Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Brighton Inn, and enjoy a round of golf at Buffalo Run Golf Course. Not much precipitation falls here at Todd Reservoir; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
