Tobin Creek Dam is pretty dried out typically; most of the rain falls all through July, and January is when it's the driest. On a great day at Tobin Creek Dam you can take a hike along the Ute Trail, and unsurprisingly, all our national parks are delightful places to explore and Great Sand Dunes National Monument is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. Tobin Creek Dam is delightful       enough to spend more than a day at, Great Sand Dunes Oasis is a delightful local campground, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Strawberry Trail. If you came to camp Blanca RV Park is a good spot to do that, and Box Canyon is a fine location to pop by. So many exciting things to do here at Tobin Creek Dam, too fine to be true. Inn of the Rio Grande Hotel and Conference Ctr is a pleasant spot to get some rest. During the summertime here                  at Tobin Creek Dam, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Tobin Creek Dam temperatures sink to the-10's.
